Boca de Yuma

Let's discover the area of Boca de Yuma, a fishing village located on the Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic and only at few hundred meters from the National Park of the East!

The village is on the top of cliff and offers a breathtaking view !!
On the program, a little of history with the visit of the museum of Ponce de Leon.

For lunch we will go to a restaurant with breathtaking views of the Caribbean and a sinkhole ... a reason to drink at your visit of the day and enjoy local specialties (seafood, fish ...)

After lunch we will have a ride on the Yuma River where you can see the Cofresi cave, known as Robinson Crusoe, who discovered the village in the 19th century.
We will then go to the back of the village only accessible by small boat...here we will discover the fruit trees, meet the villagers...

We will then leave Boca de Yuma towards the village of Benerito

On the way we will stop in the sugar cane fields to explain you the cutting process.
