Overview

This tour is a great way to see the traditional side of the Dominican Republic. Many tourists only see the resort side of the country, but this tour shows the country's history and culture. Start your day in Higüey, one of the most popular cities in the country. There you will visit the Basilica and the Dominican Market, where you can get to better understand Dominican culture and society.
Our first stop will be at a ranch to ride horseback, then we will go to the basilica of Higüey and we will also visit the market where the natives sell their agricultural products.
We will have a delicious lunch with typical food in the Anamuya river, then we will go to a typical house where coffee, cocoa and Mama Juana are harvested and processed, we will go to a tobacco factory and an art school. We finish the tour in Macao beach where you can bathe. and then back to your hotel.
