Overview

Thousands of humpback whales, also called Yubartas, arrive from mid-January to the end of March in the warm waters of Samaná Bay, in the north of the country, to mate or have their offspring. It is the opportunity to be able to advise these wonderful creatures in their natural habitat and enjoy a unique tourist attraction in the Caribbean.
You can eat a delicious lunch at the famous Samaná Bay Ilote El Cayo Levantado and enjoy its beautiful beach and sand.
